On Friday, October 15, 2010, The Leonard C. Thomas HOS Foundation will host their annual Gala Event at Tchefuncta Country Club, 2 Country Club Park, Covington, Louisiana. Money raised will help fund the various quality of life programs that our foundation supports. Through the generous support of the Greater New Orleans and Northshore communities, we have been able to continue our lymphedema therapy programs, yoga classes, genetic counseling, psychosocial counseling and transportation for patients battling cancer. In August, 2006 the Foundation changed its name to the Leonard C. Thomas HOS Foundation in memory Dr. Leonard C. Thomas, a physician who was instrumental in the formation of the foundation who lost his own battle with cancer several months earlier. We are asking for your support for this worthy cause.
